Toikka Flycatcher Sculpture

Oiva Toikka, a Finnish design legend, introduced the iconic Birds by Toikka collection in 1972, starting with small glass Flycatchers. Crafted in collaboration with glassblowers, the collection embodies Toikka's love for nature and blown glass art. Production moved to Iittala Glass Factory in 2014, maintaining Toikka's close partnership. Each handcrafted, mouth-blown glass bird is a unique art object, showcasing Toikka's boundless imagination. Iittala re-launches the original Flycatcher design, featuring a transparent moss green body and a copper beak that beautifully reflects light - an elegant home decoration and a precious gift.
